I was that kid that took FOREVER to write my notes, and LOVED the cursive practice sheets. As an adult, it has turned into a love of calligraphy and brush lettering! This two hour workshop will give you all the skills and supplies you need to start developing your own lettering style just in time for the holidays; you can make your own Christmas cards, gift tags and more! I’ve also found that this slower style of writing is extremely centering, so if you’re a journaling fan I think you’ll really enjoy this.

We’ll meet from 6pm-8pm at Downtown Books in Lexington. Each class is exactly the same, and there are 10 seats per class.

During this two hour workshop you’ll learn:

• A serif “block font” style

• A classic cursive style

• A loose, flowing script style that you can make your own!

Each ticket includes:

• A set of lettering references

• A watercolor sketchbook

• 3 watercolor brushes

• A travel watercolor set

• A sketching pencil and eraser
