If you’re from the Lexington area or know it well, you know House Mountain. It’s one of the most popular hikes in the area, can be seen from many points in the county, and provides a beautiful dark blue contrast to summer sunsets. This is the second painting of House Mountain I’ve done this year, and it’s a little more bold than the first. I kept the blue-purple mountain saturated, and the trees are less realistic and more rounded and playful.

Giclée prints are created by using a specialized high resolution inkjet printer and high-end paper or canvases. These prints are a step-up because of their extremely high level of quality, longevity and value. They often look like originals!

A note on the “borders” option:

If you are planning to mat your print, or would like the white border to create the matted look, select the 2” border option! This will ensure you don’t lose any of the image on the sides. For float frames or perfectly sized frames, select borderless.
